ChatGPT can now be used via Apple CarPlay on iOS 26.4 or later. With the release of the iOS 26.4 update on March 24, Apple introduced support for AI agents within CarPlay. To be more specific, the iPhone maker released a new CarPlay entitlement category for voice-driven conversational apps. The move effectively enabled third-party AI to function within CarPlay, reducing users' reliance on Siri .
